The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 一开始都行，到后面单杀美国大使馆腐败官员跳楼救小孩就开始鬼扯了，不过感谢网飞打消了我想花两百万买房移民希腊的想法
小黑是克星 ，害死了女友不说，车祸却卷入了 当地一场政治阴谋 ，接着被步步追杀 ，每次却又奇迹逃生 ，影片设计过于乖巧 ，有些弄巧成拙了 ！
真就追了一路啊...简单的剧情，没有一点新意和起伏
前期还好，后面到了一个不知所以的地步。无名小辈大战各种专业人士，囧
偏写实的政治惊悚题材，天生略显沉闷，导演为了挽回在结尾安排贝克特爆发小宇宙，跳车那一瞬间好像成龙附体。
希腊的景色比影片更好看，不知道什么时候才有机会一游？
前半段悬疑感十足，但故事本身并没有太强的逻辑性和说服性，最后的揭秘部分也不够透彻，对观众来说前面把好奇心高高吊起，但答案却有些无力，让人失去了“原来如此”的顿悟感。给了个好问题，却没有好答案
希腊城建这么差的哦，看男主疲惫笨硕的胖腿，仿佛要摔倒一样慢腾腾，却每次都能被后面的大长腿追不上，也是奇了怪了，不过全程真是一直在奔逃。

一个人和整个国家机器对抗时那种无力感实在是太强烈了，带着这种感受，想去看看张千帆老师的《宪法学导论》
节奏过于缓慢，主角就是nb呗，怎么都死不了，最后一跃还来个伟光正。略无聊
这丹泽尔华盛顿的儿子就是成龙呀，本来还以为是翻拍之前那部假期惊魂的电影，结果是另一个故事，没有之前的古典神秘主义变成了部惊悚片，前面还挺欧洲的后面越来越美国。时代变了，再也没法拍出《西北偏北》那种味道的片子，还有就是坂本龙一教授做的配乐真棒，氛围营造的超好！
没多少背景乐铺垫助威也能做到一场到头的惊险无尿点，拍得很好。黑主角演的非常好，不过跟白妞搭配情侣比较尴尬违和。
看片的时候背了会儿单词 时间也不算太浪费 拖沓流水账 最后紧要关头 没容易来个认识的队友 不一起救人 咱潇洒的男主说了句wait 我也是迷醉
还行 主要是最近没啥好看的 就这个能看下去
与山石般同样粗粝的风格是亮点，前半段好过后面。跳楼没死是神迹，通过舍命救小男孩实现杀死女友的救赎。政治惊悚上并无亮点，宗教主题还可以，但在全世界人格都在沦陷的时代，作为一部2021年的电影，歌颂神格不知道该说可贵还是无力
就黑人真的好能跑啊😂大哥跳崖跳车跳窗手还伤了还能逃出生天，全片让观众和男主一样，不知道为啥自己就被追杀了，很好
