The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 西部片就是血脉贲张，呼吸加快啊。
一段命中注定的相遇，再最后一次闪光过后，结束了老牛仔罪恶的一生，年轻的牛二代踏上通往现代的征程。
7分多，厚重音乐加上背景底蕴，幸好有这么个故事支撑，有几处现代西部元素看的挺过瘾。
拓荒精神下的孤胆英雄，有些科恩兄弟《大地惊雷》的影子。事了拂衣去，深藏功与名。想起戈达尔说的那句：一部电影只需要一步枪和女孩就够了。我也超想拍酷女孩枪手的故事。
前面节奏有点慢

看到正统西部片的惊喜和结局这个心里难过的反差真的好大！
西部片已经不只是一种电影类型和讲故事的方式，更是一种情调和审美——Old Henry这种看似长篇的前戏铺垫（也包含了典型的西部要素：警匪、劫案、荒僻、追杀、拓垦...），其实蛮严格地在平缓里穿插了一个个关键情节的小爆点，如同烹小鲜般的节奏控制——最后的大战一展包袱，1v8火器+冷兵器相当利落，就连转折之转折都是既可意料又略意外...反正我是都预料到了，哈哈哈~就爱看这种“事了拂衣去深藏功与名”但又在某些特定情况时机下“一爆灭所有”的戏剧方式。PS，某个豆友讲到西部片已经变成承载美式尚武精神的载体，很对。
对西部的粗粝生活还原的很好，给了西部传奇人物一个归隐侠客式的结局，只是故事太过简单了
老亨利到底是为了钱还是为了救人？这个问题一直困扰着我
像 小人物似的 英雄隐于市井,农场.故事讲的还可以,节奏也挺好的, 平平淡淡,又能吸引人看下去, 一直在猜警察是不是真警察??虽然反转都能猜出来.
永远不要惹你大爷！西部爽片，不知为什么，很喜欢西部片对枪的感觉。
中规中矩的致敬西部片。每个细节都挺考究，但也都没有突破
非常Pure的西部体验，追踪、枪战，足矣。
