The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 人物设定实在是太空洞了，故事也完全是在走过场，块状叙事虚得一塌糊涂，还有那让人发怵的营业笑容和美人鱼泡沫般的演技……可不争气的我总还是会为有遗憾的亲情动容，可恶，就会用这么点东西拿捏观众。

剧情乱七八糟，叙事方法也很奇怪。写作接力棒，读作接盘侠。田中圭不负众望继续饰演纯纯大冤种（咩和十块钱没有对手戏啊原来
短短几分钟婚礼场面拍得美轮美奂，美工居功至伟。
最后一幕挺感人的。就是太长了真的太长了，相比原著完全可以再多删掉一些剧情，作为独立电影更紧凑些。

很多叙事上的巧思真的不错啊。那个樱花镜头，一开始以为是空镜，后面再次出现就多了反转的含义。果然还是日本擅长温暖治愈系。
