剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     确实还可以，但也就只是还行的程度吧。故事略微俗套，但也说的过去，演技也过关，但也没有十分出彩。比起凯奇这一蹶不振的十几年，这部算是略微小小振作了一下。但要恢复之前众多经典佳作来，凯奇同志还要努力啊。

    片名透露了这是一个天赋异禀却高开低走的人物故事。凯奇把自己的演艺道路搬上银幕，电影也层出不穷地回cue他曾经的光辉时刻，凯奇更是借机回应关于烂片之王的吐槽。但我完全没有感受到unbearable weight具体是什么，我甚至质疑本片与中心词massive talent风马牛不相及。片里片外的凯奇沦为烂片之王不是因为massive talent的稍纵即逝，而是缺钱迫使接片不加节制、导致口碑下滑。故事的本质是常见的中年危机题材。至于青年凯奇劝勉中年凯奇时常用的那句You have a gift，与主人公凯奇的凤泊鸾漂和重振雄风可以说是驴唇不对马嘴。片中真正有gift的是对故事具备敏锐直觉的佩德罗，而在切入切戏中戏中，47岁佩德罗扮演的角色显然更富有层次感。
