The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 不同风格的一部音乐剧，官方影像音效好像做的有点问题
看完甚至有点庆幸因为疫情取消巡演被退票了，剧不好看，更不好听，几个演员一人分饰多角，我真的会错乱。中间我一度迷失了，这还是音乐剧吗？音乐在哪里？剧情无聊，唱段很少且毫无亮点，就记住了一句 I am an islander，现在的新剧都是这种水准了吗
感谢官摄，官摄和现场“炸耳朵”的音乐效果真的是不同的体验。疫情后再看这个二十多年前的故事，我们还能有open hearts吗
这部舞台剧层次非常丰富，大到人道主义，小到个人友情、爱情；从种族问题讲到女性、LGBT群体的社会接纳；有生离死别，也有相遇重逢。正如剧中所唱，一些东西失去了，另一些被建立起来了。
好久没有一场表演能同时带来两种眼泪了。
从故事内容，歌曲，演员的唱功，叙述方式，转场的安排，表演形式的多变性，现场配乐的乐队，没有一个是不满意的，非常非常地喜欢，从头眼泪擦到尾
这个真的太棒了！！一人分饰多角 无缝衔接 音乐也很动人
被故事打动，在这个世界日渐隔绝的时候，这样一个基于真实故事展现人性之美的音乐剧真太棒了。不论来自于哪个国家，文化，宗教，这一刻我们都是islander

因为一种“我想做点什么”的朴素心情伸出的援手，在美国空域关闭的背景下发生。紧急状态下维持多元的自由国际主义童话，节奏很快，笑点很多，我看的时候却久久不能摆脱那种讽刺感，911啊911，在三十多分钟的时候，中止罢工的校车司机，带着非洲人到救世军营地，非洲人不肯下车，语言不通，校车司机看到对方捧着圣经，圣经的章节编号总是一样的，“看，腓利比书4：6”，Be anxious for nothing。“我们就是这样开始说起了同样的语言”。啊。还是随之泪目了。以及美国第一位女机长，在讲述自己成长的漫长故事之后，说我最爱的被用作炸弹，啊。我知道这只是stop the world 的小岛呼告，但我想世界本该如此。

Me and the sky入坑的，其实除了这首其他的音乐很少，可以算是音乐最少的音乐剧了（不是）
CFA！！！世界上最好的音乐剧！！！本岛民热泪盈眶！！！
在911二十周年之际、疫情之后的今天看这次官摄比第一次旁观者的视角更能感同身受。第一首歌开始就想哭，焦虑、无助恐惧和不安到被治愈，全程跟唱的Me and the Sky，还是好喜欢CFA。遗憾2020年因为疫情没办法成行的巡演，still “honor what was lost，but we also commemorate what we found”。
So much to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand ,to be loved as to love with all my soul
哭死我了，故事本就很动人，这舞台调度更是超凡
