A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.
Flodders (1986) is available on DVD in Germany in a dubbed German version in Dolby Digital 5.1. under the name:

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.
实在是喜欢不起来chapter类的叙事方式，片子本身对chapter和title card的运用让我感觉是减分的。故事里的时间概念仿佛笑话，并不能让我觉得是导演高超的操控，更像是失重的类比，突然拉长或者压缩，到最后更是十分钟的回顾前世今生。稍微有点失望
因为没有背景而看得一知半解。但前半部分灰白中凋亡一代文学大师、送别和平年代，迎来欧洲分崩离析的那些别扭的、撕扯的记忆，高至诺奖获奖者也需要漫长等待才能魂归故里。也因此对这个作家和他的《钉子》起了兴趣。
喜欢狗狗的电影，尽管情节很简单，满满的都是爱
这部前段的青灰色黑白色调让人很难不想起伊斯特伍德的那些黄灰色调片子，我的理解是岁数大了眼睛不好，辨识不了黑白里灰度。两段故事——骨灰还乡和少年杀人联系勉强，用皮兰德娄个人生涯做个串联，缅怀一下意大利战后重建的年代，也算是两兄弟的青春时代了。只是一篇内容轻飘的悼文。
抛开鬼怪的配乐与华美的镜头，这就是一个懦弱之人最终成为骑士，取得自己荣誉的故事。
以皮兰德娄的身后骨灰为始发点，巨大的争议与巨大的荣耀都曾聚焦于这位作家身上，回溯那“恐怖、野蛮、挣扎的十年”，藉由魂归大海而达成漫长的告别；未完成的告别则不仅是皮兰德娄遗作——《钉子》化为影片第二部分，更是“To my brother”——保罗·塔维亚尼对哥哥的纪念，两部分的捏合通过一位作家和黑白/彩色的切换达到转承。
四季交替，颜色更迭。骨灰和人，异国和故乡在离别演出上呈现，我和他们就一银幕之隔。
实在是有点故弄玄虚，意象堆叠过剩。也算看了一种新风格，但不是我喜欢的。我还是坚持电影体裁，讲好故事是最重要的内核。anyway全篇说教角度学到的是：直面当下的挑战，不然未来也是回旋镖，且会持续阵痛。
男孩成为骑士的成长之路，缓慢的美学电影，坚持让我看完的主要在于极佳的影像和视听语言了。

真的骑士精神。学Sir Gawain and the GreenKnight时很不喜欢Sir Gawain. 电影的结尾愿意多加一星。
The first part in B/W could be seen as a journey to bid his brother a moving adieu by transporting the ashes of Pirandello, whose works have been adapted by the brothers, to his Sicilian homeland. Whereas the second part in color is quite confusing for us who have never read the story before. The shift from grey to color is poetic though
致献即是题跋。为哥哥撰写思念两章，用《钉子》锚定“未完成”的状态。保罗说，皮兰德娄“left without finishing”，而维托里奥又何尝不是？魂归故里烟尘入海，“作者”的身后事不会再有色彩，而“作品”却永葆鲜艳。耄耋之年回望这辉煌一生，“时间”不过是电影开头的那惊鸿一瞥，银幕上，光影之间转眼一瞬，青丝变白发。可此生太重，余烬装不下，不如就在海天之间，肆意挥洒。
现在中世纪故事也能够看得津津有味，实在得益于《骑砍》《巫师》《十字军之王》。影片故事脱胎于中世纪诗歌，没有完全按照原诗编排，特别是对于骑士精神五要素，在解构的同时，也使得人物选择更偏向当代化。一段自我成长的冒险，目标可能不再是成为骑士，反倒弥漫着一种更加当代性的虚荣、颓丧、自毁、避世。全片的声音表达值得细究。
就凭能够重新开一局，他就成为骑士，开挂了。讲这样个故事累不累啊。
《高文爵士与绿衣骑士》是14世纪中世纪骑士浪漫文学的杰出代表，这部电影很多人说是反骑士的，但我真的怎么看都觉得还是在讲一个骑士浪漫故事。在传统的英国民谣中，绿色是自然和繁衍的象征；但在凯尔特神话中，绿色却总与死亡和厄运联系，高文的那条绿色腰带从护身符变成他的耻辱柱，最后又变回他勇气。Bertilak夫人那段对“绿色”的含义的咏叹，太美了：红是欲望的颜色，绿色却是欲望遗落的；绿是当爱褪却后的颜色，当激情死去，当我们都死去；绿色覆盖你的足迹，青苔铺满你的坟头，青铜腐蚀你的宝剑，无论你将城池守护有多紧，绿色终会蔓延一切；你的皮，你的骨，你的“骑士精神”。【我要去买一本Michael Smith的现代英语翻译去了
整体很容易让人联想到第七封印。摄影算亮点了，尤其是两次环形运动来暗示主题，而且灯光配乐甚至烟雾效果都挺出色，几个主角演技也都到位。但寓言体的情节有点散也不好理解，而且剪辑步调忽快忽慢的也不习惯
中世纪成长公路片，妈咪用心良苦。影像是十足的A24风格。
